You can stay just like family members and participate in the various activities of the community according to your preferences.

• You will basically stay in a traditional Japanese house with no lock in the room. Depending on events and other circumstances, you may be asked to stay in a different type of room.
• Meals are served in the main hall, and bathing is done in the large public bath, both with family members. (Please let us know if there are any special circumstances.)
• You can participate in various family daily activities such as farming and cooking. A comprehensive presentation about the structure and worldview of the Konohana Family and a guided tour of the facilities and fields are also available for an additional fee (3,000 yen each).
• Accommodation fee is 7,000 yen per night, including 3 meals. Half price for children under 10 years old.
• From the 8th night onward, a long-term stay discount will be applied, and the accommodation fee will be 2,200 yen per night.
• From December 31st to January 3rd, the New Year’s fee of 1,000 yen per night will be added.
• We ask all guests to purchase Green Tourism Insurance. Prices range from 220 yen to 715 yen depending on the length of stay.
• We are unable to accept your pets in our accommodation.

We also accept volunteers who live like family members and help with various daily activities in the community, such as farming and cooking. If you would like to stay as a volunteer, please indicate this on your visitor application form.

• Volunteers live as part of a family, just like members.
• The Konohana Family lives a life modeled after nature. Just as all living things in nature continue their life activities without taking vacations, we basically enjoy working seven days a week and contributing to the lives of all.
• Working hours are generally around eight and a half hours a day (including breaks), and will vary depending on the season and crop conditions.
• Volunteers are required to stay for at least 3 days.
• Accommodation and meals are free.
• Volunteers cannot choose the work content. They will be asked to help in accordance with the needs of the community.
• Please bring your own work clothes.
• If we determine that you are not suitable for volunteering, we may ask you to switch to a regular guest stay.

We suggest you bring suitable clothing for work. For example, if you would like to experience farming, please bring long sleeve shirts, pants, socks, gloves, a cap, rain gear and boots if you have. You do not need to bring towels or bed linen, as we provide these.
